Here’s Your Tip…The right ball for your game.
Did you know there are more than 80 different models of golf balls to choose from today?
With so much selection the process of selecting the right ballfor your game can be a little overwhelming.
Should you play the same ball your favorite pro uses? What about those value packs... are they any good? Does it EVEN make a difference which ball you tee it up with?
Today I’m here to shed some light on this issue and help you select the RIGHT ball for your game.
It’s NOT all about the price.
Today’s premium golf balls can go for as much as $5.00 a piece, but that doesn’t mean they are best for your game. High-end golf balls tend to produce a lot of spin which can cause your drives to balloon and veer off target wildly, and they also tend to scuff up very easily after just a couple of holes. Don’t be afraid to try some of the mid or even low priced golf balls - you might be surprised at how much better they perform off the tee and how much longer they last.
Don’t be afraid to try something new.
If you have a slower swing speed (below 80 mph) you might want to try one of the golf balls designed for women. The lower compression on these golf balls will help you gain distance on your drives and give you added feel around the greens. Don’t worry about what your playing partners will think either - using women’s balls is a popular trend among lots of male players these days!
Next time you’re in the golf shop thinking about picking up a new sleeve or two just remember these simple rules and you’ll be well on your way to scoring the right ammo!
